Bike Shifting in HSR Sector 3
In a lot of HSR Sector 3 flats, the scooter by the gate is part of a business. It carries parcels to the courier counter, drops local orders across the grid and has a top box that has seen more bubble wrap than groceries. When the seller moves, the scooter has to move without leaving a gap in the orders.

Bike Shifting in HSR Sector 3, Bangalore
HSR Sector 3 has plenty of small businesses that began in a spare room: an online shop selling on marketplaces or its own website, with stock on shelves, packing supplies on the balcony and a daily run to the courier. For many of these sellers, the two wheeler is the delivery van. It takes the day's parcels to a courier counter, carries a local order to a customer a few crosses away and brings back fresh cartons from the supplier. Our HSR Layout bike page is about a job move from a shared flat. This one is about a working scooter or motorcycle that belongs to a one person shop.
That changes how the bike move is planned. For most households, the bike is the least important thing on moving day. For a seller, a scooter off the road for too long can mean missed dispatch windows and late shipment marks on the marketplace. So the first question at booking is not the price but the timing: which days are you shipping, and which days can the scooter be away?
Most sellers settle on one of two plans. In the first, the scooter works right up to the last dispatch from the old flat, then goes on the household vehicle, and is the first thing unloaded at the new address so the next morning's run can happen. In the second, it goes ahead a day or two early with the fast moving stock, so the dispatch station at the new flat is working before the rest of the household arrives. Either works, as long as it is decided at booking and not on the morning.
The top box needs its own attention. A box full of parcels, tape and a label roll is a small warehouse on the back of the bike, and none of that can travel inside it. We do not carry belongings strapped to or stored on a bike, partly because they shift and damage the box, and partly because stock in a top box is stock nobody has counted. Empty it into a labelled carton that joins the rest of your inventory. The box itself stays fitted. Our crew does not unbolt a top box or its carrier plate, so the bike travels with it on, wrapped and padded, with straps kept clear of the box and its hinges.
Delivery scooters also tend to carry the wear of the job. Scuffed panels from being parked in tight spots, a cracked mirror, a top box with a sticker half peeled off. Point these out at collection. The crew notes the condition and you get a copy, which keeps the record honest for a bike that was already working hard before it ever went on a vehicle.
Think too about the runs in between. If the scooter is on the road for a day or two, the courier drop still has to happen. Some sellers book a pickup from the courier for those days, some take the parcels in a cab, and some simply ship everything the day before and pause for a morning. It is your business and your call. We just need to know the plan so the scooter's collection and delivery fit around it.
Finally, the address. Tell the courier and the marketplaces when the pickup address changes. The grid of mains and crosses in HSR makes addresses easy for couriers to find, but only if they have the new one. The scooter's registration papers are your business too, so there is nothing for us to change there.
Scooter and Scooty Shifting in HSR Sector 3
Most sellers here use a scooter or scooty for deliveries, often with a top box, a hook for bags and a phone holder for navigation. Empty the box and under seat space into a carton marked as stock or supplies, unclip the phone holder, and leave the top box on.
On the vehicle the scooter travels upright, tied at the frame. The top box is padded and kept clear of straps, and the panels are covered so parcel scuffs are not made worse.
EV Scooter Shifting in HSR Sector 3
Electric scooters make good delivery bikes for short runs across HSR, and several sellers use them. Name the EV model on the booking, share what you know of its battery, and say whether the battery comes out. A removable pack can ride on the vehicle beside the scooter, or come along in the car with you and the fast moving stock. Pick one and tell us.
The charger is part of the dispatch kit for an EV seller. Pack it with the label printer and tape, so the first delivery from the new flat is not held up by a missing cable.
Two Wheeler Transport from HSR Sector 3 to Other Cities
Some sellers move the whole shop to another city. The scooter can go on the household vehicle or separately, priced per kilometre in writing. Plan to be without it for the journey, and arrange courier pickups at the new address for the first days.
Keep the RC and insurance with you. Copies ride in a folder with the bike, and nothing from the business travels in its top box.

Getting Your Bike Ready in HSR Sector 3
Decide at booking whether the scooter is the last thing out of the old flat or the first thing into the new one. Both work. Deciding on the morning does not.
Empty the top box into a carton labelled with its contents, and add it to your stock list. Parcels, tape and labels do not travel inside a box on a bike.
Leave the top box and its plate fitted. The crew pads it and keeps straps clear, but does not unbolt it.
Plan the courier runs for the days the scooter is away: a courier pickup, a cab, or a short pause after shipping everything the day before.
Photograph the scuffs, the cracked mirror and the peeling sticker before collection, and show them to the crew. A working bike has marks, and the condition note should list them.
Moving the whole household too? Our packers and movers in HSR Sector 3 page covers the house move, and a bike can travel on the same vehicle.

Before Your Bike Is Collected in HSR Sector 3
Fuel
Ride the tank down to reserve in the days before collection. A small amount is fine; a full tank is not wanted on a loaded vehicle.
Papers
Photocopies of the RC, the insurance policy and your photo ID travel with the bike. Keep the originals, especially the RC, with you. If the RC is not in your name, mention it when you book.
Condition record
Photograph the bike from every side and at the odometer. The crew also notes its condition at pickup, and you keep a copy of that note.
Insurance
Transit insurance is available on a value you declare. Keep the bike's own motor insurance valid for the journey as well.
At delivery
Check the bike against the pickup note and your photographs before signing, and point out anything new while the crew is still there.
Handover
If someone else will hand over or receive the bike, tell us who when you book, and we will confirm what they need to have with them.
What a Bike Move Does Not Include
- We do not ride your bike to the new address. It travels on a vehicle, standing upright and strapped at the frame.
- Ride the tank down to reserve before pickup. A near empty tank is safer on a loaded vehicle.
- We do not repair, service or start a bike that will not start. Tell us at booking so it is loaded the right way.
- Helmets, jackets and tools travel in a carton or with you, never strapped to the bike.
- RC transfer, address change and re-registration in a new state are yours to do, or an agent's.
Bike Shifting in HSR Sector 3: Questions People Ask
A scooter moving inside Bangalore needs at least Rs 2,500 and hardly ever more than Rs 5,500. If it rides on the household truck instead, that bike transport is billed from Rs 2,999 as part of the whole load. The written quote comes before collection.
Yes. Tell us your last shipping day and we will plan collection after the final run, then unload the scooter first at the new flat so the next day's deliveries can go.
Yes, and many sellers like that. It can go a day or two early with the fast moving stock, so the dispatch station and the scooter are both ready before the family arrives.
No. We do not carry anything stored on or strapped to a bike. Empty the box into a labelled carton and add it to your stock list, so it is counted with the rest of the inventory.
No. Our crew leaves the box and its carrier plate fitted. It travels on the bike, padded, with straps kept clear of the lid and hinges.
Point it out at collection. It goes onto the crew's condition note, and a copy stays with you. A delivery bike carries the marks of its work, and the record should show them.
Book a courier pickup for those days, take the parcels in a cab, or ship everything outstanding the day before and pause briefly. Tell us which, and we fit the bike's move around it.
Loading takes little time once the top box and boot are empty and the phone holder is unclipped. The planning around dispatch days is what matters, and that happens at booking.
Its model, anything you know about the battery, and whether that battery lifts out. Pack the charger with your dispatch kit so it arrives with the label printer and tape.
Yes. It is priced per kilometre, agreed in writing. Plan courier pickups at the new address for the first days, since the scooter will be on the road for part of that time.
Yes. Every job comes with a GST invoice. Whether and how you use it in your accounts is between you and your accountant.
Yes. The scooter is tied upright in its own space, well apart from the stock cartons. Nothing is stacked against it or placed in its top box.
Take any bag off the hook and unclip the phone holder if it comes off without tools. Anything that needs a spanner stays on the bike as it is.
Yes, both are close by and priced as local moves. The scooter can be collected after your last run and be back on the road at the new flat very soon after.
The courier needs your new pickup address and the date it takes effect. The scooter itself does not change anything for them, but your run to their counter might.
That is your choice for a trip within HSR. If you book us, the scooter goes on the vehicle and is never ridden by the crew.
Tell us at booking. We can shift the scooter's collection to the quieter end of the week or move it ahead early, so the busiest dispatch days are not the ones without a bike.
Yes. Storage in Bangalore is quoted after we know the bike and how long, and billing by the week suits a short gap. Many sellers prefer to keep the scooter running, though.
Transit cover works on the values you declare at booking, item by item. Declare the scooter and the stock separately so each is covered at its own value.
Tell us at booking who will hand over the scooter and keys. We will explain what they need to carry for the guard at the gate and for signing the condition note.
Silk Board is heavy at peak hours. We plan the vehicle's arrival for a quieter part of the day, which usually suits a seller whose runs are in the late morning or evening.
Yes. A motorcycle with a top box or carrier is handled the same way: box emptied, fittings left on, straps kept clear, and the bike tied upright at the frame.
That the top box opens and closes, the mirrors and lights are as they were, and nothing is marked beyond what the condition note listed. Then load the first run.
Check with the building before the move. If there is no space yet, the scooter can wait in storage or at the old address for a short while. Do not leave it on a cross road.
Phone +91 90908 28210 with your shipping days and moving date. We will plan the scooter around your dispatch and put the price on paper.
