If those are coming along, the bike usually fits on that same truck, and paying for space on a trip that is already happening costs less than a separate run. If you are flying with two suitcases and nothing else, the bike goes on a carrier by itself, priced by the distance.
Shared flats bring one problem that is particular to HSR. Two or three people move out in the same fortnight, each with their own bike, and the keys, RC copies and helmets get mixed up in a hall full of cartons. Label your keys with your name, keep your own papers in your own bag, and make sure the bike you are booking is the one registered in the name on the booking, or say at booking that it is not.
Collection itself is usually simple in the sectors. The internal roads take a carrier without trouble, and a lot of the housing is low rise with parking at street level. The towers facing the ORR are different, with basement parking and allotted lift slots for anything heavy, so tell us which building you are in when you book.

Getting Your Bike Ready in HSR Layout
