Bike, Scooter and Two Wheeler Shifting · Hoodi, Bangalore

Bike Shifting in Hoodi

Hoodi fills its apartment towers with people who work a kilometre away, and some of the bikes in those basements are not quite theirs. They are leased through an employer scheme, or owned by the company outright. Moving one of those is simple once you know whose permission you need.

Bike Shifting

Bike Shifting in Hoodi, Bangalore

Hoodi grew around the tech parks off Whitefield Main Road and the EPIP side, and the people who live here tend to work within a short ride of home. That short ride is often on a two wheeler that came through work. Some companies run lease or subscription schemes where the employee pays a monthly amount and the bike is registered to a leasing firm. Some own a handful of bikes outright and hand them to staff. Either way, the name on the registration certificate is not the rider's.

That does not make the bike hard to move. It does mean the rider cannot decide alone where it goes. Before you book, read your lease agreement or your company's vehicle policy and look for two things: whether the bike may leave Bangalore, and who has to be told when it changes address. Many schemes are relaxed about a move from one Hoodi tower to another. Fewer are relaxed about a move to another state, and some expect the bike to come back when you leave the job.

The permission itself should be in writing. An email from the leasing company or your HR team saying the bike can move to your new address, printed and kept in the paper folder, is usually enough to answer questions on the road or at a new building's gate. Our booking call will list the documents we want from the owner, be it a leasing firm or your employer.

The most common case in Hoodi is not really a move at all. Someone changes jobs, and the leased bike has to go back to the leasing company's yard or the employer's office. The rider may already have left the city. We can collect the bike from your basement and deliver it to the address the company gives, within Bangalore, with a condition record that protects you if the lessor later finds a scratch.

That condition record matters more on a leased bike than on your own. When a lease ends, the leasing firm inspects the bike and charges for damage. A dated note of the bike's condition at our pickup, signed by you, is your evidence of what state it was in when it left your hands.

Hoodi is also one of our three branches, with Devanahalli and Bellandur. For a bike move that mostly means response: someone can look at your basement access or meet you at the gate on a short drive rather than a trip across the city. It does not change the price. The towers here want gate passes and booked slots, and Hoodi circle backs up at peak hours, so we plan for late morning where the building allows.

Scooters

Scooter and Scooty Shifting in Hoodi

Several company schemes lease scooters rather than motorcycles, since most rides here are short hops to the office. A leased scooter moves like any other: under seat space emptied, keys together, and the lease papers in the folder. Leave the company's branded fittings alone, such as a top case or a phone holder the lessor installed, since those are part of the vehicle you will hand back.

On the carrier the scooty stands in its own space, held by straps through the frame, with its panels covered.

Electric

EV Scooter Shifting in Hoodi

A lot of employer schemes are for electric scooters, and some come with a charging arrangement at the office or the apartment. When you book, name the EV and explain how its battery is fitted, and we plan for it to travel with the battery on board.

If the lease includes a charger, check with the leasing company whether that charger goes with the scooter or stays with the society. If the EV is going back to the lessor, ask them where the charger should end up too.

Intercity

Two Wheeler Transport from Hoodi to Other Cities

If your scheme allows the bike to leave Bangalore, it can go to another city on our vehicle with the rate charged per kilometre and set out in writing. Have the lessor's written permission before you book the date, not after, because some schemes need a few days to approve a change of city.

If the bike is company owned and you are transferring within the same company, ask HR whether the bike should come with you or be handed to a colleague here. Both are common, and we can do either.

Before the Day

Getting Your Bike Ready in Hoodi

Read your lease or vehicle policy first. Look for a clause about moving the bike out of the city and one about notifying the lessor of a new address.

Get the permission in writing. An email is fine. Print it and put it in the folder with the RC copy, insurance copy and PUC.

If the bike is going back to the lessor, photograph it yourself on the day, as well as signing our condition note. Keep both until the lease is fully closed.

Ask the lessor who pays for the move. Some schemes cover the return of a bike when a lease ends early. Some do not. Knowing before you book avoids an awkward email later.

Book the tower's gate pass or exit slot as soon as the date is fixed. Hoodi buildings are strict about vehicles leaving, and a leased bike registered to a firm can raise a question at the desk if nobody warned them.

Moving the whole household too? Our packers and movers in Hoodi page covers the house move, and a bike can travel on the same vehicle.

Checklist

Before Your Bike Is Collected in Hoodi

  • Fuel

Ride the tank down to reserve in the days before collection. A small amount is fine; a full tank is not wanted on a loaded vehicle.

  • Papers

Photocopies of the RC, the insurance policy and your photo ID travel with the bike. Keep the originals, especially the RC, with you. If the RC is not in your name, mention it when you book.

  • Condition record

Photograph the bike from every side and at the odometer. The crew also notes its condition at pickup, and you keep a copy of that note.

  • Insurance

Transit insurance is available on a value you declare. Keep the bike's own motor insurance valid for the journey as well.

  • At delivery

Check the bike against the pickup note and your photographs before signing, and point out anything new while the crew is still there.

  • Handover

If someone else will hand over or receive the bike, tell us who when you book, and we will confirm what they need to have with them.

Good to Know

What a Bike Move Does Not Include

  • We do not ride your bike to the new address. It travels on a vehicle, standing upright and strapped at the frame.
  • Ride the tank down to reserve before pickup. A near empty tank is safer on a loaded vehicle.
  • We do not repair, service or start a bike that will not start. Tell us at booking so it is loaded the right way.
  • Helmets, jackets and tools travel in a carton or with you, never strapped to the bike.
  • RC transfer, address change and re-registration in a new state are yours to do, or an agent's.
FAQ

Bike Shifting in Hoodi: Questions People Ask

You can book the move, but the leasing company or employer owns the bike, so check your agreement and get their written permission first. At booking, we will say what we need to see from them.

The same as any bike. Local runs begin at Rs 2,500 and ordinarily finish below Rs 5,500. Who owns the bike does not change the band, and the figure comes to you in writing.

That depends on your scheme. Some lessors cover a return at the end of a lease, some leave it to the rider. Ask them before booking, and we will invoice whoever you tell us.

If your company agrees in writing, yes. The bike then travels on our vehicle, charged per kilometre, with the lessor's permission in the paper folder.

Figure on Rs 15 to 20 a kilometre if the destination is in a neighbouring state. Longer journeys are higher. The total is fixed in writing once the lessor has approved the move.

Yes. We collect from your basement and deliver to the address the company gives within Bangalore, with a condition note signed at pickup. Many riders here book this after they have already left the city.

Because the lessor inspects the bike when the lease ends and charges for damage. A signed, dated note of its state at our pickup shows what it was like when it left you.

Usually that is the whole point of a return. Give us the name of the person who will receive it, and we will come back to you with what they need to show at the gate.

Yes. A leased scooty is loaded and carried like any other. Empty the under seat space, and leave the lessor's fittings on, since they go back with the scooter.

The make and model, how its battery is fitted, and the lessor's permission. The EV travels with its battery. Ask the lessor where the charger should go.

No. Anything bolted on stays bolted on as far as our crew is concerned. If the lessor wants it off, they or their service partner should remove it.

Not if you carry their written permission along with the RC copy, insurance copy and PUC. The originals stay wherever the lease keeps them.

No, it makes it quicker to arrange. Someone can check a basement ramp or meet you at the gate on a short drive. The price is set the same way everywhere.

Late morning, once the tech park rush past Hoodi circle has eased, and inside whatever slot your building allows. Book the building's exit pass early.

Apply for it as soon as the date is fixed. Mention the bike is registered to a leasing firm, so the desk is not surprised on the day.

Almost always, since it stays in Bangalore. Still let the lessor know the new address, as most schemes ask for that.

Yes, for a while. We keep it in the city and quote the storage once there is a rough end date. Check the lessor is happy with that too.

Ask HR. Some prefer to hand it to a colleague here, some send it with you. We can do either, and the paperwork differs only in who signs the permission.

Transit cover is taken on a value declared at booking. On a leased bike, agree with the lessor what that value should be.

No. The crew pushes it up the ramp and across to the carrier. It is never ridden, leased or not.

Run the tank low, to reserve, in the days before. Some leases expect a certain fuel level on return, so check that with the lessor as well.

Your own photos from the day and our signed condition note from the pickup. Keep both until the lease is fully closed.

Yes. The two bikes travel on one collection, but each needs its own permission letter, and each is noted and priced separately.

Call us as soon as you know. We will tell you honestly which slots are open. A collection within hours of the call is not something we promise.

No. The lease is between you and the lessor. We move the bike and give you the condition record and invoice for your side of it.

The move does not touch the service schedule. What changes is how far the partner garage is from your new flat. If you are leaving Hoodi for another part of the city or another state, ask the lessor which garage you should use there before the bike arrives.

Ring +91 90908 28210 and say which building you are in, where the bike is going, what model it is and who owns it on paper. We will send a written figure and a list of what to keep ready.
