Bike Shifting in Tirurangadi

Give them authority in writing. A short signed note saying that this person may receive the bike on your behalf, with the registration number, avoids any doubt at the gate. Send them a photo of the RC too.

Share the bike's condition. Photograph the bike before it's loaded where you are, from all sides, and send the photos to the relative. Timing is the other half of it. A bike sent ahead should arrive on a day when the relative is home and not at work, at a wedding or travelling. Ask them which days suit before you book. If the run is long, from another state for example, the carrier gives a delivery window rather than an hour, and the relative should keep their phone close for that window.

There's also the matter of the bike's own registration. A bike coming from outside Kerala can be ridden here for a period on its existing plates, but if the family is settling permanently, a re-registration will follow.
