Third, the pickup. Our crew arrives at the agreed time. You walk round the bike together. They photograph it from every side and write a condition note, listing any scratches or dents already there. You read it and sign it, and get a copy. With the engine off, the bike is pushed to the carrier, rolled up the ramp, stood on its wheels and tied down at the frame, padded wherever a strap meets it. Mirrors may come off and travel with it. The whole thing takes about half an hour.
Fourth, the journey. Within the city, the bike usually reaches the new address soon after pickup, in the window agreed at booking. To another city, the journey is longer, and that window is agreed at booking too. You can call our office for an update.
A word on payment for a first move. A small advance secures your slot, sent to our company account, and the balance is paid on the terms in your written quote, again to the account, with a GST invoice. Never pay cash to a driver. Keep every receipt together with the quote.
Fifth, delivery. The bike comes down the ramp at the new address. You walk round it again with the crew, compare it to the photos, and sign only when you are satisfied. If anything new is wrong, it is written on the note there and then.
Sixth, the first ride. Check the tyre pressure, the brakes and the lights. Fill up with fuel. Then ride.

What a Bike Move Does Not Include
- We do not ride your bike to the new address. It travels on a vehicle, standing upright and strapped at the frame.
- Ride the tank down to reserve before pickup. A near empty tank is safer on a loaded vehicle.
- We do not repair, service or start a bike that will not start. Tell us at booking so it is loaded the right way.
- Helmets, jackets and tools travel in a carton or with you, never strapped to the bike.
- RC transfer, address change and re-registration in a new state are yours to do, or an agent's.
